Face Reality Advanced Acne Med is a water-based benzoyl peroxide gel and acne treatment that works to unclog pores and fight acne-causing bacteria.

Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is a highly effective acne-clearing treatment. It penetrates pores to fight acne-causing bacteria, helps unclog pores, and keeps pores clear. BPO has been used in acne treatment formulas for more than 80 years. It works as a bleaching and peeling agent, is antimicrobial, increases cell turnover, reduces bacterial count, clears up existing acne, and prevents future breakouts. Appropriate for normal and oily skin types.

How To Use

After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. We recommend using Acne Med in the evening. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day initially, and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness are normal and temporary.

With the new micronized BPO, moisturizer may be layered over this product after allowing it to dry for 15 minutes. However, this is only recommended for dry skin types, and may hinder the clearing process for those with oily or combination skin types.

If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of the product and contact your Face Reality Acne Specialist immediately.

Key Ingredients

  • Micronized Benzoyl Peroxide: Micronized for a smaller and more consistent benzoyl peroxide particle size that penetrates the pore more efficiently, while also preventing potential irritation. Kills C. acnes bacteria, antimicrobial, and aids in peeling the inside of the pore.
  • Bisabolol: Skin-soothing agent with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate: The purest, salt form of hyaluronic acid, a master humectant that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water to provide maximum hydration and plumping benefits to thirsty skin.
